Meet the Family Behind Walk With Me

We’re Josh, Becki, and our three girls (Kennli, Addi & Elli), the family behind Walk With Me Doodles.

What began with a love for dogs grew into a small, in-home breeding program centered around health, temperament, intentional raising, family, and community. Our puppies are born and raised right alongside us, surrounded by everyday life, children, routines, love, and the kind of experiences that help prepare them for their own families.

For us, this has never been about simply producing beautiful puppies. It’s about raising dogs we’re proud to place into the homes of people who trust us, and building relationships that continue long after go-home day.

Our Story

Walk With Me Doodles began long before it became a business. We started as a guardian family ourselves, and that experience gave us a firsthand look at what we would do the same and what we would do differently. We wanted thoughtful breeding, intentional puppy raising, and to offer our families lifelong breeder support. We wanted to raise the bar in the world of doodle breeding.

Over the years, our program has grown alongside our family. We spent years breeding and raising puppies in Alaska before moving our entire program to Southeast Texas in 2024. Through every season, our goal has stayed the same: to raise healthy, confident, well-rounded dogs who are prepared to become loved members of their families.

For me, this work is deeply personal. After years as a nurse, I stepped away from that career to pour myself fully into our breeding and training program while continuing to be present for the role that matters most to me, being a mom. Our children are part of daily life here, and our puppies grow up surrounded by the rhythms of a real family.

We believe the way a puppy is raised matters just as much as the pairing that created them. That means thoughtful health testing, temperament-focused breeding decisions, early socialization, grooming exposure, confidence building, structure, and plenty of love.

And when one of our puppies goes home, our relationship with that family doesn’t end. We want every Walk With Me Doodle family to feel supported, connected, and confident for the life of their dog.
